Students Enrolled in Courses Under the Shining Star Program for the Spring 2025–2026 Semester and Subsequent Semesters

Starting with the Spring Semester of 2025–2026, the “Current Implementation Guidelines” apply to students taking graduate-level courses under the Shining Star program for the first time.

A) Students Who Will Take Courses Under the Shining Star Program Starting in the Spring Semester of 2025–2026 and Thereafter

Application Requirements

  • Applications may be submitted no earlier than the 7th semester of undergraduate studies.
  • The cumulative GPA must be at least 3.00/4.00.
  • Students must have passed all courses.
  • Applications must be submitted to the department chair via a written request.
  • A maximum of 2 courses may be taken.
  • These courses are not included in the undergraduate GPA.
  • The requirement is that the courses be from the same department.
  • Applications cannot be made to interdisciplinary programs.
  • The quota cannot exceed 20%.
  • Graduation must be completed no later than the 8th semester.

Application Procedure

Applications must be submitted in person to the Department Chair.

Application Dates

Applications must be submitted within the graduate course registration period.

Note: You may begin attending classes starting in the first week.

B) Master’s Program Registration Process

Eligibility for Registration

  • Application is mandatory during the first registration period.
  • Failure to meet the requirements will result in loss of eligibility.
