Within the scope of Law No. 5653 on the Yunus Emre Foundation, the Yunus Emre Institute carries out education, examination, and certification activities related to the Turkish language abroad. In this context, the Turkish Proficiency Exam (TYS) is organized at the Institute’s affiliated Cultural Centers.

 

The third Turkish Proficiency Exam (TYS) to be held in 2025 will take place on September 21, 2025.

 

Exam applications will be accepted between July 28 and August 22, 2025.

 

All foreign nationals who wish to obtain a Turkish Proficiency Certificate and plan to apply to higher education institutions in Türkiye are kindly advised to take note of these exam dates.
