Regarding the International Candidates Placed in Our Graduate Programs within the Scope of Türkiye Scholarships

Candidates placed in the programs of the Graduate School of Science and Engineering by YTB (Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities) within the scope of Türkiye Scholarships are required to personally apply to our Graduate School with the documents listed below no later than September 26, 2025, at 3.30 p.m.

Passport/Residence permit card	1	Copy	The original passport and residence permit card will be checked and the copies will be received.

TÖMER C1 Certificate (For candidates to be registered at Turkish-medium programs)²	1	Original & Copy (or electronically verifiable document)	C1 level of Turkish Proficiency Certificate issued by TÖMER Centers of state universities in Turkey or Yunus Emre Institutes. Validity is 2 years since test date.
TÖMER B1 Certificate (For candidates to be registered at Eglish-medium programs)³	1	Original & Copy (or electronically verifiable document)	B1 level of Turkish Proficiency Certificate issued by TÖMER Centers of state universities in Turkey or Yunus Emre Institutes. Validity is 2 years since test date.
English Proficiency Certificate⁴	1	Original & Copy (or electronically verifiable document)	The score should be obtained from the accepted examinations (see below)

1. The name of the program stated in the acceptance letter issued by YTB and in the official placement list must be indicated. The enrolled program cannot be changed afterwards.

2. Candidates placed in programs where the language of instruction is Turkish but who do not hold a TÖMER C1 certificate will be enrolled in the “Turkish Preparatory” class.

3. Candidates who do not possess a TÖMER B1 certificate at the time of registration may submit their certificates until graduation. Such candidates will be required to sign a declaration of commitment.

4. Candidates placed in programs where the language of instruction is English are required to submit documents certifying the minimum scores obtained from the valid examinations listed below.
