Important Information Regarding Online Registration

Candidates who have been granted the right to principal (final) registration must complete their registration online via the OBS system by themselves between 10.02.2026 and 12.02.2026 (12:00 PM). The responsibility for logging into the system and completing the registration within the specified period rests entirely with the candidate.

Candidates applying to Second Education Thesis/Non-Thesis Master’s programs are required to complete their registration by paying the tuition fee by 12.02.2026, 12:00 PM. Candidates Registered in Another Thesis-Based Graduate Program

According to the regulations of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), it is not possible to be enrolled in two thesis-based graduate programs at the same time. Candidates who are registered in a thesis-based graduate program in the YÖK system must cancel their registration at the other university within the registration period.

In case there is a delay in updating the deregistration information of the thesis-based graduate program at the other university in the YÖK system, candidates are required to submit, via the “Deregistration from Another University” message category at e-enstitu.yildiz.edu.tr, either an electronically verifiable document or a wet-signed and stamped document indicating that the deregistration process has been initiated at their university. For verification purposes, the wet-signed and stamped document must also be submitted to our Institute within the registration period.

Candidates Granted Principal Registration Through Horizontal Transfer

The registrations of candidates who applied for horizontal transfer from YTU or other higher education institutions to our Institute and who were granted the right to principal registration following the entrance examination will be carried out by the Institute after the Institute Administrative Board meeting.

For candidates who are granted final registration through horizontal transfer, the deregistration process from their current universities will be conducted by our Institute following official correspondence with the relevant universities. Therefore, do not personally apply for deregistration from your current university.

Reserve Registrations

As many reserve evaluation rounds as the number of vacant quotas remaining after principal registrations will be conducted. For candidates who are granted the right to register, an online registration process will be initiated for the vacant quotas on the dates specified in the registration calendar.

On the reserve registration dates specified in the academic graduate registration calendar, candidates granted reserve registration rights must log into the OBS system and complete their registrations by themselves. The responsibility for completing the registration within the specified period rests entirely with the candidate.

Candidates Who Made Multiple Preferences

If a candidate is granted principal admission to their first preference, their second preference will not be considered, regardless of whether they complete the registration during the principal registration period. Therefore, candidates who are granted principal admission to their first preference must complete their registration within the registration period.

If a candidate is not placed in their first preference but is granted principal admission to their second preference, their first preference will not be considered in the reserve evaluation, regardless of whether they complete the registration during the principal registration period. Therefore, candidates who are granted principal admission to their second preference must complete their registration within the registration period.

The above rules also apply to the evaluation of reserve candidates for the vacant quotas.
