2019-2020 ACADEMIC YEAR SPRING SEMESTER SPECIAL STUDENT APPLICATIONS
The Special Student Applications will be between 11th February and 14th February 2020 (Deadline: 14th February 2020 Hour: 16:00). The spring semester classes started on 3rd February 2020. If the students are certain that they will take classes as special or visiting students can start to attend courses as of 136rd February 2020.
Application Procedures
-First things first, the candidates should fill in electronically the relevant application form of the forms below and get the approval of the relevant Department Head (The form must be officially SIGNED and STAMPED).
-The candidates applying as a special or visiting student must pay tution fee regardless of the fact that they have registrations in other universities as graduate students.
-Next step will be to visit the TUITION OFFICE (Davutpaşa Kampüsü, Kışla Binası, A-1009). There, you should learn the amount of payment you need to make and make the payment to the given account numnber of the relevant bank.
-When you have made the payment, you need to get confirmation from the TUITION OFFICE stating that you have made the payment correctly and submit a copy of the documents below to the TUITION OFFICE.
-Finally, you need to submit a set of copies of the documents below (signed and stamped from the Deparmant and the Tuition Office) to Our Graduate School and complete your application procedure.
Required Documents
1-) For Special Students (Already a registered student at another Higher Education Institution)
- The invoice* of the payment of tuition fee to our university and 1 copy (the invoice will be submitted to the Tuition Office and the copy will be submitted to Our Graduate School),
- The Document of Approval by your home university for the course(s) to be taken at Our University (Graduate School Executive Board Decision of the relevant University),
- Certificate of Enrollment,
- Transcript (2 copies),
- A copy of Diploma (2 copies),
- A copy of Identity Card (2 copies)
- FR-0316 Special-Visiting Student Course Registration Form **
**After you have made the tuition fee payment, you must get a "stamp stating that you have made the tuition fee payment" on FR-0316 Special or Visiting Student Course Registration Form.
- If you want to take a course(s) whose medium of instruction is English, you should submit a language certificate required for the relevant graduate program,
- If you are an International Student who wants to take a course(s) whose medium of instruction is Turkish, you should submita TOMER certificate with a minimum level of C1 (from a State University in Turkey)

Course Transfer
Article 19-
(3) The student can transfer a maximum of 3 (three) courses which are taken and succeeded by himself/herself as a special student from the same program he/she is currently registered in into his/her course load. The student can transfer a mximum of 2 (two) courses which are taken and succeeded by himself/herself as a special student from other programs than the one he/she is currently registered in into the course load of the program he/she is studying. A total maximum of 3 (three) courses taken as a special student can be transferred into the course load.
(5) The students who want to transfer courses must file a petition to the department with the transcripts and course ingredients of the courses they want to transfer attached within the first 6 (six) monts from the date of registration. The course transfer procedures are concluded with the approval of the Department and the decision by the Executive Board of the Graduate School.
