Regarding the leave of absence requests due to COVID-19 outbreak and the students who made tuition fee payment for the 2019-2020 Spring Semester

The petitions submitted by our students for their leave of absence requests are being evaluated by the Graduate School according to their graduate education statuses and the requests by our students who are at the course stages are being evaluated and decided in  Graduate School Executive Board Meetings. The decisions for the leave of absence requests by a certain number of our students  who are at the course stages were made at the Graduate School Executive Board Meeting dated April 29th, 2020 and were sent to the Departments through online electronic document system (EBYS). The statuses of the students who are at the course stages and whose decisions have not been made yet will be finalized during the upcoming Graduate School Executive Board Meetings. The requests by the students who are at thesis stages requires supervisor approvals according to the Turkish Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and the requests by those students are sent to their Departments for their supervisor approvals. If those requests are also approved by the supervisors, those requests will then be discussed at the Graduate School Executive Meeting Board Meetings and presented to the University Executive Board of Directors. The decisions will be entered into the GSIS system as soon as they have been made.
