2. APPLICATION
The applications are going to be done online on the website of the Natural and Applied Sciences Institute (www.onlinebasvuru.fbe.yildiz.edu.tr) on 8th-17th December, 2014. After the online application process, the applications are going to be approved by our Institute.

3. SOME IMPORTANT POINTS
Master’s degree candidates can apply to two programs; whereas, doctoral degree candidates can apply to only one program.
You must write the exact scores (with the decimal points, if any) of the tests required. The applications of candidates who have given incorrect information will under no circumstances be accepted. Also, you must fill in the GPA of 4 point grading system if the university you graduated from has both 4 point and 100 point grading systems; otherwise, your application will not be accepted.
For the entrance exam on 24-26 December, 2014, you must submit the hard copy of the online application form, your transcript and your ALES/GRE score to the candidate evaluation committee on the exam day. (Since there will not be any entrance exams for the non-thesis programs, the candidates must bring these documents to our institute in the registration period.)
Click here for entrance exam documents.
4. EVALUATION
The general success score of all of the candidates that apply to Master’s degree programs with thesis and doctoral programs is evaluated by the candidate evaluation committee regarding 50% of the ALES (GRE, GMAT) score, 25% of the GPA of Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree and 25% of the result of the entrance exam.
As for Master’s degree programs without thesis, the general success score is evaluated with 80% of the ALES (GRE, GMAT) score and 20% of the GPA of Bachelor’s degree.
In order for a candidate to be evaluated as successful in the entrance exam, the general success score must be 50 out of 100 for Master’s programs without thesis, 60 for Mater’s programs with thesis and 70 for doctoral degree programs.
A candidate who does not take the entrance exam will be considered unsuccessful.
