The deadline given for the submission of the leave of absence requests onto lisansustu.yildiz.edu.tr online system stated in the previous announcement dated April 3rd, 2020 and titled "Graduate Education Procedural Adaptations due to COVID-19 Outbreak" has been extended. The deadline now is April 24th, 2020-Friday. The petitions for the leave of absence requests by our students will be evaluated by the Graduate School Board of Directors and the University Administration in line with the regulations and decisions by the Turkish Council of Higher Education (YÖK). Until the final decisions made regarding the leave of absence requests have been made, our students must carry on attending their registered courses over the online learning system of YTU.
Note 1: The leave of absence requests by our students who had to pay the tuition fee and didn't make the payment for the 2019-2020 Academic Year Spring Semester between the deadlines in the academic calendar will not be accepted.
Note 2: The MSc. students whose maximum period of study ended as of the end of 2019-2020 Academic Year Fall Semester and whose graduation procedures have been going on with the periods of time in the regulation will not be able to submit petition for leave of absence request due to COVID-19 outbreak but will be given time for how long the academic and instructional activities have been postponed.
