Important Points Regarding Thesis Review
  • Theses are reviewed for compliance with our institute’s writing guidelines after the thesis defense exam has been successfully completed.
  • Before uploading your thesis for review, please read our Common Mistakes and make any necessary corrections.
  • For our thesis writing guide and templates, click here.
  • Please make sure you are using our current templates before uploading your thesis.
  • We recommend using our LaTeX Thesis Template to ensure your thesis output complies with our thesis writing guidelines. By their very nature, theses prepared using an MS Word template may be more difficult to format in accordance with the thesis writing guidelines. Our institute staff does not provide technical support for issues that may arise during the preparation of your thesis. For those experiencing an issue where the capital "I" instead of the capital "İ" on the LaTeX title page can apply the solution found at this link.
  • You are solely responsible for managing your urgent matters; please ensure you accurately plan your schedules for graduation applications, thesis defense exam dates, and thesis review submission dates.
  • You have one month from your thesis defense exam date to submit your hardcover thesis to the institute. You can request an extension of one month to your thesis submission deadline through the e-Institute system.
  • When submitting a bound thesis, the physical copy of the thesis must include the wet signatures of the thesis committee. The signature pages must be identical to those in our thesis templates. Signature pages that do not conform to the template format will not be accepted, even if signed by the committee, and the student must revise the relevant page to match the template and obtain signatures from the committee again. The responsibility for this lies with the student.
  • If you are writing your thesis in Turkish using MS Word, Turkish Thesis Template, and if it is in English, use the English Thesis Template.
