Matters Regarding Online Registration

Candidates who have been granted a reserve enrollment spot in the 3rd Round must complete their online registration THEMSELVES via OBS between July 27, 2026, and July 29, 2026 (12:00 PM). It is the candidate’s sole responsibility to log in to the system and complete their registration within the specified timeframe.

2. Master’s degree candidates (with or without a thesis) must pay their tuition fees and complete their registration by the registration deadline (July 29, 2026, by 12:00 PM). Applicants Already Enrolled in Another Thesis-Based Graduate Program

According to YÖK regulations, you cannot be enrolled in two thesis-based graduate programs simultaneously. Applicants who are already enrolled in a thesis-based graduate program in the YÖK system must have their enrollment at the other university canceled within the specified enrollment period. In the event of a delay in processing the cancellation of enrollment in the thesis-based graduate program at the other university into the YÖK system, you must submit an electronically verifiable document or a document bearing a wet signature and official seal from your university confirming that the enrollment cancellation process has been initiated via the e-enstitu.yildiz.edu.tr by selecting the “Withdrawal from Another University” message category. The wet-signed and sealed document must also be submitted to our Institute within the registration period for verification.

Candidates Who Have Earned the Right to Primary Enrollment Through Lateral Transfer

Candidates who have applied for lateral transfer to our Institute from YTÜ and other higher education institutions and have earned the right to primary enrollment following the entrance exam will have their enrollment processed by the Institute after the Institute’s Administrative Board meeting. For candidates who have earned the right to final enrollment through lateral transfer, our Institute will ensure that their enrollment is canceled at their current universities following the official correspondence process. For this reason, please do not submit a request to cancel your enrollment at your current university yourself.

Waitlist Enrollment

Reserve evaluation rounds will be conducted to fill any remaining vacancies after primary enrollment, and for candidates who are granted enrollment eligibility, the online enrollment process will be initiated on the dates specified in the enrollment calendar to fill the remaining vacancies. On the waitlist enrollment dates listed in the graduate academic enrollment calendar, candidates who have been granted waitlist enrollment eligibility will log into the OBS system and complete their enrollment THEMSELVES. It is the candidate’s sole responsibility to log into the system and complete their enrollment within the specified timeframe.

Candidates Who Made Multiple Preferences

If a candidate is admitted to their first choice as a primary candidate, their second choice will not be considered, regardless of whether or not they complete registration during the primary registration dates. For this reason, candidates admitted to their first choice as primary candidates must complete their registration during the designated registration dates.

If a candidate is not admitted to their first choice but is admitted to their second choice as a main candidate, their first choice will not be considered in the waitlist evaluation, regardless of whether or not the candidate completes registration during the main registration period. For this reason, candidates who were not admitted to their first choice but were admitted to their second choice as a main candidate must complete their registration during the registration period.

The above rules also apply to the evaluation of waitlisted candidates to fill any remaining vacancies.
