Registration has been opened for students who completed their applications by a certain date under the Amnesty Law No. 7417. The list of students whose registrations have been activated pursuant to Institute Board of Directors Decision No. 23 dated August 10, 2022, is provided in the MS Excel file below, with the relevant stages indicated. Graduate students whose registrations have been activated must fulfill the requirements specified in the relevant Institute Administrative Board decision text corresponding to the stage at which their registrations were activated. Students whose registrations have been activated under the amnesty are subject to the Senate Principles of the YTÜ Graduate Education and Teaching Regulations currently in effect.
Students whose registrations were approved under Amnesty No. 7417 will begin their studies starting with the Fall semester of the 2022–2023 academic year, as indicated in the lists above. Students must first determine their thesis advisors and topics and then apply to their respective departments. The maximum time limits specified in the regulations will begin as of the Fall Semester of the 2022-2023 academic year.
Previously assigned adviserships have been terminated upon the student’s withdrawal. Therefore, all graduate students whose registrations have been reactivated under the provisions of Decree No. 7417 must complete the advisor assignment process within the timeframes defined by current Senate regulations.
Students whose registrations have been reactivated will be able to select courses on the dates listed in the academic calendar. Click here for the Course Registration Calendar.
A separate announcement will be made for all students regarding access to the Student Information System, where course registration and other academic procedures can be completed. It is important to follow these announcements. Additionally, all graduate students are required to use an ORCID researcher identifier. Click here for our related announcement.
Applications are still open, and the names of applicants who have applied or will apply will be added to this announcement as their registrations are processed. Since applications for academic amnesty will close on November 7, 2022 (at 4:00 PM), there are students whose applications are still under review. Lists will be published as the reviews are completed.

Students whose registration has been approved and who are currently enrolled in a thesis-based graduate program at another higher education institution must have their registration at that institution canceled by September 13, 2022, at the latest. Otherwise, the registration of these students will be canceled.
