Announcement of Remaining Open Spots in Our Thesis and Non-Thesis Programs for the 2022–2023 Fall Semester, and Information on Online Document Uploads, Registration Procedures, and Tuition Fees

The registration process has been completed for candidates who have earned the right to enroll on the main lists. Graduate students in thesis-based programs who have completed their final registration do not need to submit a receipt after making their tuition payments, if any are due.

The online document upload process for candidates on the waitlist has begun and will end on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 (at 12:00 PM). Candidates on the waitlist who select the program they wish to enroll in by the date and time specified above and complete the document upload process will be provisionally enrolled in the order of their ranking, up to the number of remaining vacancies, and the number of candidates from the waitlist eligible for final enrollment corresponding to the remaining vacancies will be announced. Applicants who have not selected the program they wish to enroll in or uploaded the required documents by the specified deadline (September 27, 2022) and time (12:00 p.m.) will not be enrolled. Tuition payment procedures and withdrawal from a second graduate program must be completed after the announcement of candidates from the waiting list who have secured a spot to fill the remaining vacancies. Note: In accordance with the decision of the Institute’s Administrative Board and Articles 6(6) and 6(7) of the Senate Regulations of the Yıldız Technical University Graduate Education and Teaching Regulations, the enrollment quotas for the following programs have been increased.

 

  • Department of Architecture, Master’s Program in History and Theory of Architecture: Quota for Turkish Citizens (In-Field Students)

  • Department of Architecture, Master’s Program in Building Construction, Quota for Turkish Citizens within the Field

Article 6- (6) If there are insufficient applications for either field-specific or non-field-specific quotas during the evaluation phase, provided that the total program quota for both field-specific and non-field-specific categories is not exceeded, quotas may be transferred from one category to another based on a decision by the relevant Graduate School Council, following a recommendation from the candidate evaluation committee and the opinion of the department chair

(7) During the evaluation phase, graduate program quotas may be increased based on the recommendation of the candidate evaluation committee, the opinion of the department chair, and a decision by the relevant EYK.
